Promotional and concert posters are where fine art and commercial art meet. American Royal Arts is pleased to offer a limited but varied selection of vintage rock and roll posters. These vintage posters are truly rare and, in most cases, were not available for sale to the general public. Our posters feature Grateful Dead art, the Rolling Stones, The Who, George Harrison, Neil Young, Led Zeppelin, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Frank Zappa, Elvis Presley, Madonna, Stevie Ray Vaughan and others.
We have a selection of signed promotional rock poster art that was produced for in-store displays and distributed only to record stores. Many of these vintage rock posters are actually printed with “Promotional Use Only – Not for Sale.”
In addition, we offer vintage concert posters from a variety of groups that toured in the 1960s. Many of these were produced for successful concert promoter Bill Graham to announce shows at his popular New York Fillmore East and San Francisco Fillmore West concert halls. His poster series became world-renowned as he used artists such as Wes Wilson, Rick Griffin, Stanley Mouse, Alton Kelly, Bonnie MacLean, Lee Conklin, Greg Irons, Randy Tuten, and David Singer.
